He rode the black stallion in the most important tournaments like the Jockey Club Open, the Tortugas Open and the Palermo Open. Descendants of Gete Rubi were auctioned at the Heguy Polo Horse Auction in Argentina. Gete Rubi has been bred at the stud Tanoira in Argentina. His mother Frambuesa is also the parent of Gete Franela. This mare is played up to today at the Palermo Open by 10-Goaler David Sterling. The mother of Frambuesa, named Guinda, is a half sister of the famous stallion Durazno. Guinda was played during her career as a sport horse in all the major tournaments – at the Palermo Open she was eleven times in use.
